The Lake Kurumoi  Rainbowfish ( Melanotaenia parva ) Endemic to Lake Kurumoi West Papua/Indonesia well known for its striking colour and how peaceful natured this fish is.
 
These guys are peaceful but to avoid any issues should be not be kept with long fin species to avoid nipping. Kurumoi rainbows like Calm water aquariums best that are well vegetated.
These guys usually tend to do better in groups of 6 or more as they are social creatures an will do well with other peaceful species.
 
Size: Lake Kurumoi Rainbows Typically range from 5-8cms.
 
 Habitat: Calm waters, High water flow and good water quality, Sandy or muddy substrates with lots of plants to hide an breed.
 
Diet: Kurumoi Rainbows are Omnivorous so a balanced mixed diet of high quality flakes or pellets as well as mixing in some food like bring shrimp, blood worms etc as well as vegetable matter foods.
